// Early this morning, the alarm went off and I snoozed for about 10 minutes before I got out of my bed. Per usual it was raining outside my window and all I could think of is how I just wanted to go back to bed. Luckily, I had packed a bag of training clothes the night before and my amazing boyfriend had made a pot of coffee for me before he left for work. So I just had to get a grip, drink my cup and walk out into the rain. On my way to the train, I stopped at a place where some candles and flowers were placed. Yesterday a boy was hit by a train close to where I live and the lights were in memory of him. My heart aches by the thought of it.
The subway and downtown everything was just as usual. People were on their way to their jobs and pushed to get in time. I was on my way to Berns to go attend a workout class. Hanna who runs fashionable fit training has taken over Berns and now runs an awesome bootcamp there. I'm so excited on finally getting started and working out with a group of power people this autumn. After the class which was circuit training with different stations, we each got a key to a hotel room where we had showers and everything we needed to get ready for the day. As if that was not luxurious enough, we also had an amazing breakfast at Berns. The best way to start a rainy Monday.
The whole day after that was spent at the office where it felt as if ever got anywhere. A typical Monday feeling I guess.
My head and shoulders feels heavy and I feel that a cold is coming my way, which is something I definitely do not have time dealing with.
After work, I took the train back home again. I went past the little place where the lights were still standing and I suddenly felt an urge to cry. When I got inside the door of my apartment, I sat down on my couch and cried for a while. It feels so good to just let it all out sometimes.
At any time now my man will come home from practice and we'll cook spaghetti and meat sauce together. That makes me happy. He makes me happy.
